A Note from Jeanna A. Hawkins - Owner and Artistic Director
For more than two decades, THE POINTE! Company & Technique Conservatory has been more than a place to dance—it has been a home for artists, families, educators, and dreamers. As I step into the role of Owner and Artistic Director, I am deeply honored to continue the legacy and foundation built by our Founder Emeritus, Gina Tate.
Having been part of THE POINTE! family for many years, I understand the heart, commitment, excellence, and sense of family that make this organization so special. My vision is to honor what has made THE POINTE! successful while continuing to create opportunities for growth, artistic exploration, and excellence for generations to come.
At THE POINTE!, we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to discover their potential. Through comprehensive training in dance and the performing arts, our students are challenged to grow in their technique, artistry, confidence, discipline, and character. We provide age-appropriate instruction and meaningful performance opportunities while exposing students to diverse styles, choreography, guest artists, and professional learning experiences.
Our goal is not simply to develop strong dancers and performers. We are committed to developing strong, confident, compassionate individuals who understand the value of hard work, teamwork, commitment, and perseverance. The lessons learned in the studio extend far beyond the stage.
We remain committed to fostering a supportive environment where students feel safe, encouraged, challenged, and celebrated. We believe in nurturing a genuine love for the arts while maintaining high standards and realistic expectations that allow each student to grow at their own pace.
THE POINTE! is—and will continue to be—a family. We celebrate the legacy of those who came before us, embrace the students and families who are with us today, and look forward with excitement to those who will join us in the future.
As we enter this next chapter, my commitment is simple: to honor the legacy, protect the heart of THE POINTE!, and continue building a place where artistry, excellence, opportunity, and community thrive.
I am incredibly grateful for the trust placed in me to lead this organization and excited for all that lies ahead.
